1. What this policy covers

This explains the cookies and similar local-storage technologies this site uses, why, and how you can control them.

2. How consent works on this site

When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose. Strictly necessary storage is on by default and can't be turned off, because the site can't function without it — it's not subject to consent under GDPR/ePrivacy. Analytics cookies are off by default and load only if you actively accept them. Accepting and rejecting are presented as equally prominent choices — there's no pre-ticked box, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens the same banner. Your choice is remembered in your browser (see the table below) so you're not asked again every visit, and non-essential scripts (GA4) never run before you've actively consented.

The _ga and _ga_<container-id> rows are only ever set if you accept the Analytics category; they are never loaded before that consent is given.

4. Categories in full

• Strictly necessary (always on). Required for core functionality — remembering your cart and your cookie choice. These don't require consent under GDPR/ePrivacy because the site can't work without them.
• Analytics (off by default). Google Analytics 4, used to understand aggregate site usage — pages visited, approximate location, device type. Loaded only after you accept this category; you can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Withdrawing or changing consent

Click "Cookie settings" in the footer at any time to reopen the banner and change your choice. Withdrawing analytics consent stops GA4 from loading on future visits and clears the existing _ga/_ga_<container-id> cookies.

6. Browser-level control

You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser's settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop the cart from working correctly.
