PROCESS

Four stages. No stage is a mystery.

Every engagement — regardless of service — runs through the same four stages, with the same standard of documentation and the same milestone-based billing.

01

Discover

We scope the work against your actual brief, not a generic template.

  • Written scope document
  • Confirmed timeline
  • Confirmed price

2–5 business days

02

Design

Screens, data models, or infrastructure plans, signed off before build starts.

  • Wireframes/architecture plan
  • Sign-off checkpoint

varies by service, see each service's "at a glance" table

03

Build

Delivered in milestones. You see progress; nothing is billed you haven't approved.

  • Milestone reviews
  • Staging environment access where relevant

the bulk of each package's delivery time

04

Operate

Documented handover. Repos and credentials transfer on final payment.

  • Handover document
  • Credential transfer
  • Optional Maintenance & Support onboarding

1–3 business days

Abstract calibration strip divided into four unequal segments by ember tick marks, standing for the four stages of the engagement

Most of the catalogue: a defined scope, a defined price, delivered in milestones. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay.

PREPARATION

What we need from you

  • A written brief — even a rough one. We'll refine it together at Discover.
  • Brand assets, if you have them — logo, existing style guide, brand colours.
  • A decision-maker available for sign-off at each milestone review.
  • Hosting/domain or existing system access, where the engagement needs it — confirmed at Discover, not assumed upfront.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

01 How much input do you need from us during Build?

Milestone reviews, not daily check-ins. We tell you exactly when we need a decision or sign-off from you.

02 What if we're not ready to make a decision-maker available every milestone?

Tell us at Discover — we can adjust the review cadence, though it may extend the timeline.

03 Do you work with our existing team, or independently?

Both, depending on the engagement. Web apps and custom software often involve your team's input on the data model; websites and design sprints typically run more independently between review points.

04 What's the difference between a milestone and a package?

A package is what you buy. A milestone is a stage of delivering it — each one is reviewed and approved before the next is invoiced.

A process you can actually follow, stage by stage.
